I build this chest for a family member in need of a chest for there living room. The woods I used for this project were poplar and sanded plywood. I used poplar because its not expensive and I didn’t want to deal with any knots, and I also knew I would be painting the chest. The sanded plywood worked well for me but the only flaw was that the sanded plywood had large biscuits in it, but they went away once I painted the chest. This was a fun project that I in joyed building.
