Oak table and bench set

A follow-up commission from an(other) oak bench I made for this customer. They were going to take the previous bench to their holiday home but liked it so much they decided it was too good for that….so they bought another one and a table to go with it!

The table had to have removable legs so they could transport it to the holiday home. I’ve never made a flat pack piece before so it was a challenge, especially with a drawer in the long side. It turned out pretty solid though. No photos of the underside but I added a sketchup graphic to show you the structure.

Thanks for your comments guys. I love the grain pattern too – I spend far too long at the timber yard according to my timesheet, but I reckon it’s worthwhile.
