Rolling Shop Cart

I built the shop carts from 1/2 plywood with hardwood edging and double locking casters. The top comes off so that I can put other tools on top of the carts such as either the sander, miter saw or other tools. I made two carts and one has my Dremel type tools that I use for carving and shaping. It also has an electrical box with an extension cord.

The drawers are on full extension drawer slides and made from 1/2 plywood and used Kreg pocket screws. The handles have a slot for putting the drawer contents so that I can find things faster.

Nicely done and very innovative! Great idea to put the slots in the drawer handles for content labels—might have to steal that idea…............ :-)

That’s a fine build. Neat idea and functional! Well done.

I will look and see if I have any plans, measurements, or photos which would help. I am going to make another one in the near future.

Have your say...
