I built a set of 8 Kevin Rodell dining chairs. Solid Cherry with Walnut high lights. I wanted 2 captains chairs so I made 2 -2”wider and deeper and added arms. They’re about 2” taller, a bit more would have been better. Finish sanded with 320 G, a coat of Minwax Teak Oil and 3 coats water born Varathne (400G buff in between coats). I think I could have done the seats my self, but with the coast of the leather being what it was, I went to a professional. All in all a great project. I did a blog if any one’s interested. Thanks fer lookin’

A set of chairs is a challenging project. You’ve built some great looking chairs.

Mark, the chairs are incredible! Very well done. Will a matching table be your next major project?

beautiful set of chairs, particularly like the Carver version.
Chairs are always a challenging proposition,
but no doubt that you have pulled it off.
Cheers, Jinky (James).
