My wife saw this idea on one of the DIY shows.
I used 3/8×3” t&g flooring from lumber liq. Brazilian koa. It turned out pretty nice

Great job of building that. Love the color in that Koa. Much different than Hawaiian Koa

Looks great and you stepped it up a notch wrapping it around the angle of the wall to keep the grain going!!!

That looks good. Flooring … it’s not just for floors anymore.
