Daughter's Project for favorite teacher

She has one math teacher that helped her get through some tough spots, her design, she did all the roughing and sanding, small amount of guiding for the finish cuts. Used “Oil” sharpie, silver, for the text, spray lacquer for final finish. HD had a pack of 6 for 12 bucks. I think it took more time to decide on the color text than to make the trophy.

Will need to deliver it to the school this week.

SWMBO is a teacher. She would love to get such a thoughtful gift. Your daughter did a fine job. Be careful, it may get hard to get her away from the lathe if she gets hooked. :)

Great turned project! I hope your daughter signed & dated it because I am sure it will be one of the favorite gifts this teacher has received over the years!
