10 years in the making. 10 years ago we needed a stand for our new TV. I found one that worked for $5.00 and told the wife I will build a nicer one. Well 10 years later I finally finished it. I still need to put the drawer pulls on but it is functional. The wife says I better not take another 10 years to get the pulls on. Not a problem I say I can do it in half the time. Constructed of Cherry with several coats of shellac and hand rubbed and a final coat of wax.

Nice piece of furniture and I hope that your wife realizes that such a beautiful piece of furniture just doesn’t happen overnight. Nice work.

Thanks guys. I tried to explain it is not the actual creating of the piece that takes the time it is the mental preparation. And Max, she said I need to be mentally prepared to get the draw pulls on soon. What do you think that means? Have you ever tried to pick out drawer pulls? There must be a million of them.

It’s a wonderful piece John. The curved legs make the statement here…a real nice design element.

John, wonderful project, the execution is great.

And as far as the drawer pulls. YOU do realize that to install the drawer pulls requires a special tool, right?
Say something like a new Festool router.

Thanks for sharing.
