Mahogany tenon saw case

Finished a case for my new tenon saw. Don’t have anything for it yet to keep it safe so I whipped this up in a few hours. Mahogany sides and plywood top and bottom. Wax finish.

Nice saw case!
I would ditch the rubber bands because when they start to deteriorate they are going to leave a gooey mess.
How about some Velcro instead?
