I am always carrying cold ones from the garage refrigerator to the porch in the flimsy cardboard things, then running to get an opener. Decided to make this out of cedar, include the opener, and dress up the handle a bit. Got the idea of the handle from a cool box I saw on lumberjocks.

I’ve been wanting to make a “picnic caddie” sort-of along these lines – to carry condiments etc to an outdoor dining table or to another house when we are bringing food. So, I’ll keep your design in mind. (I don’t drink beer, however.)

The open is a nice and necessary touch.

I also like the opener on the side. Not much a beer drinker, but I do like Angry Orchard Hard Cider and their caps do not twist off.
