After seeing Kiefer’s in person yesterday thought I should post my attempt! Now I have to make another one or two after seeing how big they can grow! Made with Local Birch and some other woods that were leftover from some Krenov Planes. Picture 3 are some cheap Chisels I picked up in Lubeck. Picture 4 is of course one of the world famous Kiefer Awls which some how found its way home with me, Thanks Klaus, looking forward to your trip up/down here in the near future, might even tidy up the shop?

You bet buddy
That was very nice of you to drive down here and have a visit .
I think we compared some good subjects and thanks for that chunk of birch it will turn into something nice .
Now about that awl LOL ENJOY
The mallet looks good except that it needs a couple of good luck pennies .
I will be up for a visit this summer and check out your shop .
Take care Klaus
