My first attempt to make my own electronic pipe mod. The bowl and shank is Walnut with an additional shank of Wenge. The second shank covers the vape tank. The Churchwarden stem was purchased and I believe is either Lucite or Vulcanite. Sub-miniature normally open push button swith.
It took me about two months to make working about a couple of hours a week. Tools used: drill press, belt sander, files and a dremel. Black leather stain on the Walnut to bring out the pits and grain then sanded. No stain on the Wenge. Buffed all with Tripoli, White diamond and carnuba.
Vapes great!
Last photo shows the insides and is how I use it when I’m driving.

Thanks Dug. It was fun and challenging to build, especially the electronics.

I don’t know what an electronic pipe is, or what vaping is. But as a pipe, this is really great. Amazing job.

Very cool idea. I’ll have to look into e-pipes.

Just started vaping last week, looked at the metal pipes… needless to say, they look like garbage compared to this gorgeous piece of functional art!
Wish I had the time, talent and knowledge to build one for myself!
Great Job!

SkinsKaos- thanks! Yeah I’m new to vaping too and wasn’t impressed with the pipes currently out there which is why I decided to make my own.
I’m betting you can make your own like I did. Check out how to make tobacco pipe videos on you tube and then get with your vape shop to help with the mechanics and parts. Not as hard as you would think.
Good luck and I hope to see your creation on here.
