Made the base from Shopnotes issue 124. The legs are not laminated as the plans call for My lumber store was having a sale on thick hard maple so I used that instead. Bought the 30” x 60” top from a local woodcraft store. The last picture was the bench I started on, which measures 20×42” and was actually in the basement of our house when we bought it. I still use it, but I decided I needed more room so I tried one of those Harbor Freight benches, but that didn’t work out too well, as it was not flat, sturdy, or wide enough. A piece of junk, really

I should have built this new table years ago. I love pretty much everything about it.
I may add a front vise, but I have not decided yet.

Nice build! I like your old bench too.

Great work on the bench, I bet you will have this for years to come
