You're a lucky daddy. My daughter and I made a pair of clunky slit drums together a few years back. Overall I'm happy that she learned you can make things with your hands.

Time with children is the most precious of all, & this is going to her favorite heirloom.

I love getting my kids into the shop to help. I'm glad someone else is there with me.

Wow that young lady has some serious hand to eye co-ordination and woodworking skils only to be improved on with Dad's help over many years.I have three boys and have always watched how daughters really love their daddie's.You are lucky and me? well I have grandson and a grandaughter MY little Grandson is five now and he loves coming into the shop to make little things or asks me to make them (we do it together with his father my son Russell )I am sriously like you are now doing going to develop his love of making things as he gets older. After all I will not live forever and I so want him to remember his Grandpa. Keep having fun with your own little pincess Alistair

That is an awesome looking box. So glad she could join you in the shop, it is great that they learn that they can make things they want or need. I love all the time my daughter spends with me in my shop. Hope yours decides to spend more time with you.
