This is a piece of turned hack berry measuring 3.5” tall by 7” wide. It is finished with a two-tone RIT dye, tangerine and yellow with final coats of spray lacquer and then buffed with 0000 steel wool and briwax. All comments welcome.

Yet another great bowl, never heard of hack berry before but it looks great. Well done.

Very nice bowl! I’ve neer seen hackberry used for anything other than firewood before. Makes me want to get a lathe, and turn out some projects with some locally harvested wood!

Hey Ted, he is Jack because it is fall and it reminded me of a jack-o-lantern.

Another great turning Joe. Will Libby and Jack be on display on Halloween?

Also I was wondering which LJ has the most projects posted. I know you’ve got quite a few. Keep em coming.
