Gifts for my kids
One is cherry/ Maple with the drawer fronts made from some lacewood veneer scraps
The 2nd one is walnut/Maple
I was experimenting with a fully exposed drawer and placed the drawer guide dados at the top of the drawer box
Let me know what you think of the design

They are unusual for nightstands, but beautiful and I think practical at the same time.

Cool design. Im wondering if there were something heavy in the drawer, and it was pulled all the way out, wont the table tip forward?

The lacewood is beautiful.

I like the lacewood better, After seeing it, the walnut looks boring.

Now If I hadn’t seen the lacewood the walnut would look great… but .. I can’t take it back.. I saw that awesome wood.

Very nice, I like the design and wood choices. The drawer fronts of the first pair in the main picture is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing.

A very unique design ,I really like the look, but I do wonder if it might have a tendency to tip forward.

Beautiful wood, design and craftsmanship! Definitely a job well done.
