This is a Mark Laub inspired cabinet I made from Mahogany and maple. All the tennons are hand-cut and so are the dovetails. The bottom shelf and boxes are all floating. Finished with 7 coats of shellac and the knobs (not pictured) are Horton Brass.

Are the legs unfinished mahogany? Very pretty piece.

Beautiful cabinet!

One thing I would change is make the “horns” rounded and not so pointy – as I fear small children might become impaled on them whilst frolicing in the house.

Wow, nice work. I like the maple legs, the clean white with the mahogany turned out well. I think curly may have ended up busy, but you never know.

cheers, johnl
