Walnut bowl made from an off cut of a gun stock blank.
8”x2”, wipe on poly finish.
The blank had some cracks that I filled with CA.
Turned om by Jet 10” lathe using EWT carbide tools.

That looks great, but it deserves a nice brand mark on the bottom. How many coats of wipe-on? Every time I use that, it takes more than I have the patience for.

Nice. I like the proportions and texture. Makes one want to touch it.

What an awesome piece of walnut you have there. You did a great job giving it a profile that shows off the grain of the wood. That is one to put in the display case!!!

Wonderful piece. Walnut is a beautiful wood, and your simple design showcases it very, very well.

Very pretty. Really like the shape and the added lines.
Have your say...
