Let me thank Dan Snow for the idea, dimensions, and answering many questions based on his posting;

I made it a bit more simple for my limited skills, and pleased with the result, just used some southern yellow pine I had, and water based poly for finish, color was as Dan did in his ‘original’ Hope the little fingers will enjoy it.

David, I used a bandsaw for the shapes, and a jigsaw for the cutouts in the box
