Toy Box From Kreg Project Plans

We needed a place to store my son’s toys. The old chest we used had a heavy lid which would sometimes fall on his fingers, luckily it never did any damage I found these plans on the Kreg Website under their projects section. I was able to build this for free since everything was leftover from other projects. I used leftover milk paint from old projects and then mixed together the remaining milk paint to get the light blue color.

Looks nice. I bet it fills up fast, and then he will be in it playing. :-)

If you decide to put a lid on it, use the lid protectors from Rockler. I attached my lids with a simple piano hinge, and then added two lid protectors. The lid won’t fall. You have to close it. Check it out here.

Nice, the milk paint really makes the box, i’m sure your son will enjoy throwing his toys in this. Well maybe not my son always had to be told hee hee so much a chore for the young-ins
