Workshop / sketch Pencil With Chrome Finish. The wood used was Cherry Laurel Burl.
This was just one piece of wood before I started.
Contrasting heart and sap wood burl.
My last piece. I had been saving this piece of wood for over a year waiting for the right project.
The finish used was 6 layers of CA (super glue) followed by polishing wax.

The six sided metal trim piece on the top end keeps this pencil from rolling off of your bench.

All comments welcome. Good or bad.

I purchased the kit from Woodturningz. Thank you for looking.

This is a nice kit. I turned out out of Screwbean Mesquite a few years back. It’s a very nice shop pencil. You can’t use it for fine lines, but, for all else is good. This is really a nice turning. I like the finish as well.
