Somehow I often manage to collect a seemingly endless supply of narrow strips of lumber piling up in the corner of my shop. So periodically I drag it out of the corner and put together a few end-grain cutting boards. This is the first of 5 that I was able to put together while cleaning out the shop.

I like to utilize the “FREE Cutting Board Designer cbdesigner which can be downloaded as freeware at “”.

This one is off to mom to complement her new quartersawn Wenge Kitchen Which is Awesome!
This board is made of Rock Maple, Seple, and Wenge.

I was originally going to go with a 3d board but for some reason no-one will use them… LMAO.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice board. Neat design. Those little strips of wood collecting dust can be used for some great gifts. Like the work.

Great job, very cool design. I use that software as well for boards… Very fun.

Opps its a different software, I tried the DL of this one but can’t get the comdlg32.ocx file in my Windows\System32 folder to update or take… Will have to keep trying…. Thx

If you search for that file it will take you to a official Microsoft Website where you can download the file and a installer for it. I had a similar problem but after getting it from Microsoft I had no problem..
