Decided to use up some of my scraps this weekend after reading this thread. Ripped some left over Curly Maple to 1.75”, and used 3/8” strips of Purple Heart, Genuine Mahogany and Wenge. Glued and clamped them with Titebond III for a couple hours, than sanded progressively from 60 grit to 300. Edge Routed with a 1/4” Roundover Bit. Finish is Mineral Oil and Beeswax. I was really surprised at how much the curl “popped” with just the Mineral Oil. Thanks for Looking, and also for the inspiration!

Nice. Like the way the woods contrast with each other.

Thanks! I love playing with different woods in different orders to see a great contrast/balance. Thanks for looking!
