Every couple of years my wife buys a new $5 mixer when Wally World has them on sale. They last about a year and a half or until she uses it, whichever comes first.
When they break out goes the mixer but the beaters remain in the kitchen drawer, there must be 6 or 8 of them in there.
I was looking for something to stir some soup with the other day and so I pulled one of these out and used it and it worked pretty good (imagine that), the only thing wrong was it needed a handle.
I found some maple and walnut scraps in my off cut bin and glued them up.
I had cut some copper pipe ferrules for tool handles I planned on making.
First attempt at wire burning.
CA finish sanded to about 6K.
It actually works great. I showed it around and immediately got an order for one. She is even going to supply the beater.

I have a similar idea in mind, but the beater is made of wires. These days I do and share. Yours was excellent, congratulations. Greetings.

Bake that is a very nice turning you have made. The copper really helps the wood pop!
Nice Job!
