So I have a bunch of apple wood I pulled out of the bush where they are cutting a swath of trees for a fence row or pipeline and one was a huge apple tree, I wanted to see if i speed up the drying process for projects and dried a chunk in the microwave, not knowing what to do with it I carved an apple.

Got impatient and didn’t a good job because it is starting to show minor checking, finished with BLO.
