I made this frame to hold a special picture of my grandpa who recently passed. He was a carpenter for all his life and inspired my love of wood working. It is made of white oak. I was hoping for a slightly darker finish but I’m still happy with how it looks. I used a tongue oil to finish it.

Great frame & photo! I’m sure you’ll cherish them for the rest of your life. My Grandpa was similar to yours – Taught me everything I know about woodworking
