Heres 2 pinch bowls I made from birch!
Ill do my best to explain how I made them..
I have a chainsaw mill, so I used that to mill it into 1.5” planks.
Handplane..
Drew a circle in the center, and with my 2” gouge , carved out the bowl.
A quick sand, then finished with a bees wax and mineral oil paste.
They turned out great!

Wow, I would have guess they were turned on a lathe. Very smooth carving.
