When I first posted my end grain cutting boards I mentioned the 200 plus year old pecan that My brother Tommy and I harvested from My Dad’s tree. Well this is the first board to show it. It was made from Black Walnut, Cherry,
Jarrah, Pecan, Purple Heart, and White Oak. The Pecan makes a great show. I think it is my best board so far. It was a wedding gift for my brother Tommy’s daughter. The wedding was very nice, and they both loved the board. I think my Dad would be very proud of what he has done for his family. I have over 16 different hardwood species to create cutting boards. This one was really special for me to create. Every board is different. It keeps me wanting to make more. It measures 10 3/4” x 14 1/2” x 1 5/16” tall. No feet, it can be used on both sides.
