These are some of the dog leash holders I’ve been doing. All natural wood, no stains or paints used.

Wow, very impressive and realistic looking. Do you start with a photograph, or what?

Supernice! I like it how you have combined the different types of wood. Great!

Great idea for leash holders and yours are nicely done. Have you ever come across a pattern for a Doberman? I found one for a Dobie puppy, but I want one for a full grown Dobie.

By the way, I’m a fan of all your intarsia you have put here. I haven’t commented on all of them, so get a stamp that say “PaulDoug likes this” to put on them all.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Yes, I go from owner’s own photos or I have stock photos. I started with the lab template from Then friends and family started sending their own pics. Love the Challenge of a new breed.
PaulDoug: Your stock pic of your doberman looks like a cool one to do. The Ebony might be a little pricey though. I just finished a black lab that cleaned me out of my gaboon Ebony! Here’s one of the pics from the black lab. Man!

Nicest dog intarsia pattern I have seen. Thanks for posting.

Welcome Sumestriquis! And from DuBois no less. Your intarsia is great. I come from a steel town called Johnstown. It’s nice to have you and your work all up on this site!
