First End Table

This is my first end table and I would say it came out pretty well. It’s made from solid oak that a farmer had laying in his barn – I’m thankful for his gift. I made up my own stain by mixing red mahogany and ebony to get the look I wanted. I also placed a maroon felt cover in the drawer and a period pull knob to match our decor since our house was built in the late 30’s and has been renovated for that look.

Nice work! I like the stain color, and the overall design.
