LOML needed a crate to take small packages to the Post Office each day. The 13”/33cm height x 12.5”/31.75cm depth x 19.5”/49.5cm width interior dimensions of the crate are based the largest box she uses, a 12”/30.5cm w priority box.

I used a tongue and groove router bit set to make the joinery for popular stock that was milled to 0.64”/16.3mm thickness. I used made a plywood jig to space the slats for glue up. IMO the crate is too heavy for light packages, I’d mill to half that thickness the next time.

Ha, a crate the mailman might want to steal from you for a change!
