This is one of my favorite scroll projects. It’s cut from 1/2” red oak. I’ve probably made a dozen of these but they all seem to go home with friends or family. Happy Easter to all my Lj friends! Thanks for lookin

Lovely work! Very nice cutting. Your own design or where is the pattern from? Approximate dimensions?

Pattern is from Wildwood designs, about 16” tall

Wow I have not seen these in years. I use to make these in various woods. They were good sellers at one time for me. The difference was I made the top so that it hinged and you were able to put items in the bottom section. I lined the outside opening with colored mirror from the inside. Then I used selfsticking felt to line the box. Alot more work but it seems to help sales. Thanks for a look back down memory lane. Nice work on the cross. Around this time Easter was a good time for sales of these. I use to have them in various commisssioned stores. Thanks for showing.
