Hallway Mirror frame #2: Assembley of frame

« Part 1: In the beginning there was broken old mirror and some clear Fir wood Part 2 of Hallway Mirror frame series no next part

Assembley went pretty well except for one warped stile that makes one of the bottom corners twist outward.
All in all i”me fairly happy with the finnal results.

All thats left is a final sanding and picking a finish. Any suggestions?

Popeye, this turned out really well. I really like the design you executed.

As far as a finish goes that is largely a matter of personal taste. Just putting a clear topcoat on it would look fine. If I were doing it for my home I would stain it to match my existing woodwork and then topcoat with a gloss poly. But no paint, PLEASE.

I would Never Paint something like this! what a shame that would be.
