scrolling through the project forum - 2 replies

Hello to all who support this forum. Thanks. I have just recently returned to the LumberJocks web sight and I like scrolling through the projects forum to view all the wonderful projects that the members have made. My issue is that now that i am on page 300, shut down for the night, I have to scroll through all those viewed pages 3 at a time...

wall hanging corner shelf - 2 replies

Hello all.My grandson has built the Lego Saturn V rocket and i am planning to build a hanging corner shelf for it. The rocket is over 39 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. the two sides and front will be glass with a wood frame from Cherry. If you have built anything like this would you please send pictures. Screwing or gluing a solid piece of wood to a solid core molded composite door - 3 replies

I have a a solid core molded composite door that is only 80 inches long, but I need it to be 84 inches. I just need to know if it will glue and or screw a solid piece of oak or maple to the bottom to add my four inches. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I am looking to purchase a straight edge to help with getting my table saw up and running. So far I have been impressed with Woodpeckers 36 inch SERXL-36. Do you know of a straight edge that is similar quality at a lesser price? I don’t need all the bells and whistles.

Help with Craftsman 22124 Tablesaw assembly. - 2 replies

Finally. after 12 years, there it is, unboxed and completely naked is my brand new 12 year old 22124. OK enough of that. My issue is that my cast iron extensions drop about a sixteenth of an inch. I have tried using a wedge but then there is a gap at the joint. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Gluing over stain - 6 replies

I just stained a box and then decided to put a wood scrollwork decoration on it. Will wood glue stick to stain? Any suggestions? Other alternatives? It is pretty thin, so I cannot nail it on. Thanks.
