I have been at this woodworking for a while now. I am in my eightieth year. I bought my first power tool in 1956, a Delta eight inch table saw, and I still have it. It still works smooth and true. My main table saw is now a ten inch Delta. I was born and raised in Iowa, but spent 35 years in New England. While in New England I worked in local pine. Now that I have retired to Michigan I work in native hardwoods that I purchace rough from local saw mills.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.
To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.
Please enjoy your membership.
