Part 1: Shopsmith storage idea # %^$#

If you note I have many blogs, I will let you in a fact. In August I had a left knee full replacement and knew I would be headed towards having the right knee done. So it was done the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Not being a hunter here in PA, less concern on my part but in the September recovery of the first I was able to go out and sit on my small deck and look at the sights and enjoy. Not so in early December here, “stoke up the woodburner, Nana” too bad I lost that woodbur...

Part 2: Rebuild the Shopsmith cabinet ...again..doing better.

So in the first build here in AZ I used a coffee table on the stand underneath and there are 5 casters under the stand to it rolls instead of the tubes holding the weight. I have found that I prefer shelves in the cabinet instead of drawers a bit of convenience and a bit of lazy. The quard needs a place the fence needs place. they don’t fit in drawers. Part 3: Rant...free projects and getting your moneys worth, My opinion

At age 68, I have been my own craft business, bought many books and magazines. Gone to classes and workshops on making projects and been able to get ideas and patterns. But last year considering a new step and the internet I PAID into membership to The Woodworkers Guild of America for plans and tips and advice. In my opinion I would tell others spend your money elsewhere. I have received in emails only about 4 free tips on projects or hints. George is a great explainer, I used ...
