Not all projects are super duper. Thanks to Steve Ramsey Woodworking for Mere Mortals for this small idea. I have my grandson over most mornings and he has oatmeal and needs me nearby. Now as a serious coffee man putting your coffee on large arm sofas is not easy nor any breakfast with the kids. So this is a 3 board project make it to suit. my top board for food is as big as a sheet of paper. the side to the fence is 4 by 5 and the opposite side is 5 by 9 so it gives that big squishy arm a grab and I can level the surface. 6 screws to hold it together. Now I don’t worry about coffee on the boy or the furniture. He obviously is happy I am there and this blue child chair is in my projects as a child adirondack chair, check it out.
