« Part 2: 8 projects from scrap in 30 days..and coffee Part 3 of Build in The Small Workshop series no next part

Hi. So it April 28 here in Phoenix and I expected change when I moved here. My kids have lived here for 10 years and I saw many vacations. Talking about heat. 4 grandsons. So I was in PA. Now as I watch many utube shows and the current ones show someone in jeans and a hoodie…please..I have been in shorts and sport shirt or T shirt for a month. And the 100 temps are here. So this is the new adjustment to my Shop. a 10×10 canopy and a fan that has a mist line. And some of you must think I am crazy. I would have had my doubts last year about a fan that blows a mist at you at 11 am or 4 pm. So far the shade is great and the 3 speed fan moves a lot of air. the mist line feels great and evaporates in about 7 feet but the effect is a cool breeze coming at you for low cost. Lower than trying to air condition a Shed Shop. the shed is insulated and vents on two ends. its 8×16. who would have guessed ?? Still working on the bookcase units.. Thanks. Hal

Thanks for the outside view. It’s still pretty pleasant here in Alabama – low 70’s. Strawberry season.

At least you probably don’t have to mow over there in AZ!

Have you visited AZWoody or other LJ’s out there?

Arizona, shop in a shed, summer and no AC?

Have your say...
