I have been retired 11 years now. Most of my routines have not changed. Coffee and computer time first hour or so and donuts when I can. So work or jobs followed. Shop time has never been more than an hour a day two at the most…worse when I had a tv there to slow me down and distract me. Moving here I saved the wood from two base units in particle board, bought culled wood from the Home Depot ( I knew I would make something being cheap), some extra when I could sneak it into the buy. So here goes…I have a major Book Case project here in the works and bought $700 dollars in Poplar from the Wood Store milled and ready. More later. But in the move in December I sold off jigs and things I could not move. I ripped scrap OSB to 1 inch and glued overlap edges to make corner squares,, extra particle board to make some more squares for the cabinets when I glue up. I have a grandson who will be one, making a Height Board for him from a 1×8x6 ft pine, and the shop of course looks cluttered. That is my NCIS Gibbs tool holder in use. See my projects. I made a new table saw sled from ply and 2×3 that suits me. A mobile base for the workmate needed that too. TWO drill bit holders one just for Brad point bits. And very needed a new Router table…the black paint did wonders and it will make the shelf edge strips and door frame joints. I already have a veritical raised panel bit.

Also a tenon jig and spline jig for the table saw and 3 table blade inserts. What did we do without all this time? If you want to see those projects please go to my projects.. Also for a small table project I have a Tailgate table with slip together legs no nuts or bolts…2ft by 2ft…great for a little bit of wood. Please check it out. Thanks Hal

Hey OG2,

I do read your posts, though I have little to say. You do a lot with a little.

Have your say...
