« Part 12: Walls for Cheap and Change, electric?? Part 13 of Small Shop build in AZ ( from moving it?) series no next part

Desparate for floor space the OldGuy said. what if we took the corner and hung the shop vac up above the Shopsmith and also the duststopper bucket. Whoa. Now I had plans before to go under a 48 inch shelf with the Shopsmith…it needs 43 inch of height with the table on it. and its 72 inch long on casters. So with hooks and a dog chain we were not using up goes the Shop vac , screws and strap for the bucket since we should only be cleaning it mostlly. Then I have an extra hose for an 9 ft length to the back of the saw guard …good for moving it or the jointer or band saw. or another. Power strip under the Shop Aprons as a wall switch for on/off. We will see how this goes. I don’t see using the tool here but the vac will be out of the way of rips or cuts or lathe work. The garage shelf photo is my realization that the 8 by 16 shed shop won’t hold all of my good stuff so I plan to claim these last three shelves as mine. Stains, bins, extra whatever I don’t see using, and my plans collection will be here clean and safe. That’s the maple I was able to bring from PA in the move and saving those for some gifts, most of it 4 ft. lengths. 2 inch wide….yup it needs to be stored in a better manner. Thanks for checking on this shop build. Recently I posted a cabinet under the Shopsmith as a main project, also I have an outfeed table as a project on my site.
