« Part 10: Lets See it...What there? Part 11 of Small Shop build in AZ ( from moving it?) series Part 12: Walls for Cheap and Change, electric?? »

In the January day of sunshine I got going and put up all I could of the Rellectic insulation rolls and that made a difference. These photos were taken with the doors almost closed to stop the light from the west. On the 8 Ft. wall I have the wall bench not for building but tool setting and later behind this will be OSB painted white and a high shelf at 5ft the top header is at 6 ft. I have wire shelf for the material to keep an open look. I think from the door to the wall bench will be a tool wall and the end wall for portables…shelf or french cleat style. Along the 16 ft wall I have more wire shelf for 8 feet of it to go at 5 ft.and 8 inch deep. By not having deep shelves I won’t get the head banger and I can have some wall hanging without loss of floor space. At the other end I am thinking the best use of the end wall will be some lumber storage and that is good/bad. I am trying not to get much. What I have is left over from the waterbed build and I can use it for shelves here and wall covering and maybe a shelf unit under the Shopsmith. On the floor is a Planer on a dolly, another Craftsman table saw, tool stand, and the Shop Vac. The mobile Bench is 24 by 48 on a Craftsman tool chest.. large wood vise on one end. top made from 2×4 glued up. You see the small router table on the bench, I have ideas for my portables. You can see the reflection of the insulation thats the skylight working. and why I will paint the OSB white. No lights on in these photos. Choices here in the Small workshop…Sand outdoors under a canopy. Open the doors and face the yard enjoy the view. Plan to cut large boards down anyway…Don’t we all do that…then use the Shopsmith or miter saw. Get the Box Fan and filter going, it really helped my last shop. Another small 8 to 10 inch fan for air cooling. Maybe a Yard Sale to sell the extra tools or some stands from the move….money is good. Please as you read this, I have been setting up this Shed Shop for 2 weeks on and off as we unpack and thinking it since November when I opened the doors. This is Shop #6 for me and still taking all my tricks to not overdue and want a bigger. Its Phoenix and I will be here awhile and later bring in the Son and Grandsons to make projects. And the wood floor is just great on my feet. Thanks for reading.
