Hello everyone,

Last Fall I took delivery of a Grizzly T25926 bench-top lathe. If you’ve seen any of my most recent videos you may have seen this lathe in the background.

When I bought this lathe Grizzly was offering a free 22” bed extension with the purchase of the lathe. The lathe itself was on sale for $395.00. I couldn’t pass it up.

Long story short, I made a video of the set up. I didn’t do a demonstration at the time because I didn’t purchase any turning tools with it. Those didn’t come until just recently. You can see them in my blog post titled Awesome Find, Awesome Price #3

Anyway, if you have one of these lathes I’d like to know if you’ve experienced the same thing I did as far as the maximum RPMs are concerned. Mine exceeded what the lathe specs and the motor specs said. By quite a bit I might add.

If you decide to watch, I would like your feedback about the audio quality. Please leave your comments in the comment section of the video.

If you are thinking about buying this lathe I hope this video helps.

Take care.

Did you directly buy it from the Grizzly store? The Green color seems deeper than the previous units, it’s beautiful. I own the Rockler Mini btw.

charlestheoldturner – No, it was shipped to a different location than my shop. I agree that it is a pretty nice looking machine. I looked on Rockler’s web site. Do you own the Excelsior brand lathe? With or without the extension? Thanks for checking it out. Take care.
