Coloring wood with Nail Polish - 13 replies

Problem: I wanted to have a bright red line in walnut and didn’t want to bother with having to do an inlay or work with paint to get a bright color with dark wood using a primer, paint and sealer. Supernova2 on Delta 460 midi? - 2 replies

My apologies if this has been addressed – I did my best to search first. After a year of using TechShop’s Powermatic 4224, it’s time for me to get a lathe of my own at home. I can’t afford a full size beast but it seems like the Delta 40-460 is loved on LJ and will let me turn my smaller bowls and all the pens/stoppers...
