« Part 2: One Week Left Part 3 of LJ Woodworking Awards - Summer 2008 series Part 4: And The Winners Are... »

WOW… this is going to be tough. We have 58 entries in One Man's Junk and 26 entries in Serve It Up With Class category. And now it’s time to pick your top 5 list in both categories and cast your votes (and don’t forget that three lucky random voters will win our stylish LumberJocks Shirt).

Voting deadline is on August 7th at 3 PM CDT.

Note that only LumberJocks who have posted at least one project in the past are allowed to vote and, for those of you who have submitted an Awards entry, you will notice that your project is not listed when you make your selections. (You are not allowed to vote for yourself.) So don’t panic when you do not see your entry in the voting list – others can pick your entry without any problems.

The results will be announced on August 8th.

Click on the big VOTE AND WIN button on the Awards pages to cast your votes now.

Boy that was hard. Picking only 5 was difficult enough, but then having to rank them was no small feat. This whole challenge thing is great even if you eventually have to narrow it down.

Real torture, huh? But I still think it’s more fun than having some designated jury.

I agree Martin. It’s worth the effort.

Darn, The voting period is so short. I got busied out the last few days, woke up on Friday morning (NZ time) and realised that I had just missed the voting by 10 minutes. There were such good entries too, not including my own – andI really wanted to cast my vote.

Can’t we make the voting period a little longer next time, or at least have it cover a weekend period?

D.. it’s usually a full week but we had a little glitch during the last days of entering so it kinda messed up the schedule a bit.
