This is a wall mount chess board game that I made for my oldest son, the last photo is of it hanging on his wall in his apartment in Montreal. The only thing that I did not make is the chess pieces. It is made from cherry and oak wood, but the fun thing is that it is all made from pallets that I had taken home from work. It has a storage bin on the bottom. There is also a small piece of a three sided wood that is written Last move. Check. Checkmate. As I have three sons I’m making one for each of them. My second oldest son wall mount chess board is made all from Oak, and has sliding doors on the bottom. For my youngest son he wanted his made from Oak but wanted it black and white. My next project is to make each of my sons a writing desk all from scrap skids of cherry.
