Aha moment with ROS and dust - 6 replies

I have a couple of Ridgid ROS’s that for the most part are dust free when using my vac. Today I needed to sand the edges (2”) of several art panels and was getting more dust than usual. I realized that there were two ventilation slots I never noticed and put some tape over them. Bingo, no more dust. I know this might sound trivia...

Flat is good! - 16 replies

I finally got around to building a torsion box assembly / outfield / work table. I built the top about a month ago and just finished up the base. Going to build some removable cabinets with drawers in the near future to go under the table. What a pleasure to have a dead flat surface to work on!

Table saw blade wear markings - 38 replies

I am concerned about how this blade (Freud Fusion 410) is making wear marks on the plate. Although there is some wear on one side, the opposite side is much more worn. Spent some time checking alignment of table and fence and it was dead on. It makes smooth cuts but I am getting burn marks on most materials. Any ideas? Harry

Sealer for cradled art panels - 3 replies

I make a lot of these cradled art panels using poplar and faced with 3/16 birch ply. I have been using MDF until today and just changed over to the ply. Sick and tired of MDF. Looking for a decent sealer to use on the back and front to keep it from warping. Any suggestions? Also, if any of you make large art panels, I would like to hear fro...
