« Part 3: First epoxy glaze coat. Part 4 of Honey locust bench. series no next part

So I have been letting this piece rest for a bit because my original buyer decided he wanted to go with something else. I had every intention in making this a bench until I found someone else interested in it who had other ideas. She was interested in finding an entry/sofa table and they had just remodeled her basement. She was looking for something that had a rustic feel, but a huge industrial influence so this is what I came up with. The legs are 3/4 Sch. 40 Iron pipe, with structural fittings and floor flanges. This look made it really stand out. I kept the contrast instead of painting the fittings to match the black of the pipe, in my opinion that was the right call. I didn’t get any pictures of the table in her basement, the lighting was terrible and I had left my phone in the truck. Hopefully I can get back over there and get pictures of it in it’s final resting place.
