Hey Matt:
Another year has rolled by. It must have been a fun year because it seems like yesterday when I congratulated you on be a LJ for 2 years. Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary at Lumber Jocks. Thanks for helping make LJ a great place to visit and happy anniversary!
Hi Napaman, your work is really good. As for the yellow chair back angle I've used 25 degrees on other chairs and it seemed to work great for this design as well.
Hey, I don't think I'm gonna make it out to Sacramento for that Northern CA jocks meetup in November, but we should try to organize something North-Bay-ish! (Not that woodworking in Sonoma doesn't already have quite a bit of cool events…)
Hi there Napaman,
Thanks for stopping by my page.
I love your work.
When I get more into my turning I will be looking you up.
The native American woman is 12in tall. It is leaning back on a stand so it looks a bit smaller.
It can be made larger but that was the size to customer needed.
The Drama masks are made of mahogany.
Keep in touch!
Thanks for the complement. Plugging the holes is well worth the trouble, but it is trouble. It does get a lot easier everytime. I have many templates and tricks to make the job easier. I guess it was about the 20th chair that I got smart and got everything more organized.
Thanks for the warm welcome! Here's hoping that you and your family have a great summer. I loved having both of my parents (both teachers) home during the summer when I was growing up.
Thanks for the kudos on my deck. It is built on pier blocks. Most of my info was from Handy magazine and this website. http://www.deckplans.com/plans/index.cfm I've just posted updated photos of the lattice & the climbing clematis we just planted this last weekend. It'll look nice this summer…
