My basement ship is about 12×14. I’m also a RC airplane builder, so it is a dual purpose shop, although since I started learning woodworking a year ago, the model stuff has pretty much gone untouched. Other than a drill, there are no power tools.

Nothing against power tools, just wouldn’t work in my basement if I want to keep family happy.

I like the way you put the casters on the table legs. Works with a high stool, or a short stool without the casters.

I forgot about the casters. I built the bench for my model plane builds and I wanted it to be movable. I stupidly got on youtube to look at benches and stumbled on woodworking videos and kind of diverted my hobby time. Casters lock, but not well enough for planing, so they were removed and replaced with stub legs to bring the height back.
