I am a soon to be a retired teacher in northeast Indiana. I went back for one more year because they could not find a replacement. I can't wait to spend full time in the shop. I like your boxes something that has spark my interest in making. Good luck in your woodworking journey.

Maplerock - Us lucky folks in San Diego seldom, if ever, have to worry about anything freezing. I primed and painted both sides of the letters. Two coats of primer and three coats of paint, all Rustoleum spray from Home Depot. I "buttered" the backs of the letters with epoxy then pin nailed the letters with 23 gauge brads. I applied small dabs of paint to cover the recessed nail heads. That pretty much seals every thing up. The customer provided the primer and paint for the backboard.

I charged $165 for this one but should have asked $200. As is often the case in this woodworking business, I underbid this one at $165 plus tax. I should have bid it at $200. C'est la vie.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I appreciate it! It is humbling to see the magnificent projects here on LJ's. I have already stepped up my game, and although I have been submitting some of my past projects, I hope to be able to put some better quality pieces up for you in the future.
