Location: Central Vermont

I'm a furniture and cabinetmaker in Central Vermont. I love making custom furniture. Recently I've started playing with design, trying new things, especially with boxes. Hobbies are hiking, birdwatching and struggling to understand quantum mechanics, among other things.
I have two websites. (feel free to sign up for my e zine Wood Shop News while you're there). (my original business website with info about me and the business)

Hi Bob,

If you mean the box that shows up on my home page, its actually a lapdesk. It’s a reproduction of Thomas Jefferson’s that was featured in an article in FW some years back (issue 144). (Mine wasn’t featured, FW was where I got the plans). The top that you see can fold down flat on top of the desk, or open up for a larger writing surface. It was a fun project. I’d like to make another some day (add it to my list).
